I am an old college graduate in my early 50s. I have been in a medium sized company for a long time, and the total amount of benefits, bonuses, and overtime pay that I am allowed to put on only 3 hours is about 4 million. I have a full-time housewife and an elementary school child to support. If I spend it on rent, utilities, food, etc., I am a zero savings household. What is going to happen in the future?

Some of them may be despising themselves or half-heartedly giving up on themselves because they are from the "ice age" generation of job-hunting.

I think it is up to individuals to despise or give up on themselves, but I think it gives a bad impression because some people blame the times and the country for everything in their current situation and make fun of other generations, even though they have made no effort to improve their skills, change jobs, or anything else.
It's not good that the majority of people made an effort and are now working in decent companies, while a few either didn't make an effort or people are still complaining all the time, even after all these years.

I graduated from a private university with a deviation of 52 in 1996 during the "ice age" of employment, and was hired as a substitute at a medium-sized family-owned company in a rural area. Although I ate cold food from the beginning, I was in charge of a fairly niche job and acquired quite specialized skills and language skills during the 10 years or so I was there, and I was fortunate enough to change jobs at a conglomerate company. I also experienced an overseas assignment and changed jobs to a foreign global company when I was around 40 years old. I have never had any success in my career and have been working as a flat salary professional for many years, but I have no overtime and no stress and earn about 1500 a year. I don't deny that the politicians and the government are inept, but lamenting about it is not going to solve the problem, so I started investing as soon as I entered the workforce and have continued to invest in small ways. I will retire early when I get tired of my job. Once you realize that you are a loser, there is nothing to be afraid of.
